Cima Coppi products are handmade and designed in Little Italy in Vancouver, Canada.
From a modest studio Cima Coppi began in 2008 with wool cycling hats, made from recycled wool and hand delivered by bicycle to local clients. Currently, we strive to provide the best handmade cycling clothing and accessories, encourage cycling in all capacities and operate with a relentless quest for practices which move us to sustainability.
Our core purpose is to enhance cyclists’ daily experiences by providing active lifestyle solutions that complement the bicycle, and succeed in its same ways, by being enjoyable, ecological, efficient, refined, healthy and highly functional.
With that, we encourage your feedback on how we can more quickly progress with our goals, whether it’s having a coffee in the studio, chatting upon delivery of a hat, or listening to your thoughts about waste reduction on a Cima Coppi ride sometime.
By the way, the name Cima Coppi (pronouned CHEE-ma KOh-pee) comes from bike racing, and specifically the Giro D’Italia, denoting the highest mountain pass in the race. The ‘Cima’, or peak, is in honor of Fausto Coppi, perhaps the greatest Italian racer of all time, and a man who had a vision for great achievements. Ok, so we’re not racing 21 days of torture, but the aim is to develop our solutions and experiences with a similar passion and determination. Anyway, just as often we prefer to meander along looking for some shade and a nice cool drink.
