Q.  Why wear wool for cycling?
A.  Comfort. Wool is natural, soft, breathable, odour-resistant and excels at regulating body temperature. There are additional environmental reasons why 100% wool garments are great: synthetic clothing releases microscopic debris that accumulates in our oceans every time you wash it. Q.  Where does your wool come from?
A.  We collect local off-cuts of fine Italian woven wool for our cycling caps and use European merino wool for our jerseys and jackets. You can read more about our merino wool supplier here.

Q.  Will I be too warm using a wool kit during my summer rides?
A.  Unlike synthetics, wool reacts to changes in your body temperature and is able to keep you warm when you're cold and cool when temperatures rise up. A short sleeve, lightweight wool jersey will perform beautifully throughout the summer, even in hot climate areas.

Q.  Aren't wool garments itchy?
A.  No way, man. Itchy wool clothing is a thing of the past. The wool we use is ultrafine, and feels soft and comfy against your skin.

Q.  What does Cima Coppi stand for?
A.  The name Cima Coppi (pronouned CHEE-ma KOh-pee in Italian) comes from professional road bike racing, and specifically the Giro D’Italia. It denotes the highest mountain pass ('Cima' or peak) in the race, named in honor of Fausto Coppi -- perhaps the greatest Italian racer of all time and a man who had a vision for great achievements.

Q.  Where are your products manufactured?
A.  All our products are designed, handcut, individually sewn and embroidered in our East Vancouver studio. We are a two-person operation and everything you see, from product to website to photography, is lovingly done with our own hands.

Q.  Do you have a minimum order for custom?
A.  No. We'll customize any number of jerseys, from 1 to 100+. We have price breaks depending on the number of jerseys you order: 0-5 jerseys are full price. Discounts available for 6-12, 13-25, 26-50, 51-100 and 101+.

Q.  Do you do custom tailoring?
A.  Nopes. We use our patterns and sizes only. Small modifications -- such as shorter bodies, or longer arms -- are fine, but we cannot create new patterns for every client.

Q.  What type of customization can you do?
A.  In-house Embroidery (add names and logos to your design). Product Modifications (add a zipper or a pump pocket). Jersey Design (we'll design a unique jersey for your team).

Q.  What are shipping options for local customers?
A.  We deliver locally by bike for free. We deliver only when we can free up some time from production, so we can't guarantee the fastest delivery times.

Q.  Can we pick up orders at your studio?
A.  Yes. You are welcome to swing by to pick up your order or just say 'hello'. Please, email in advance to ensure we'll be available.

Q.  Do you ship worldwide?
A.  Yes, we do. And we also offset all of our international shipping. Shipping rates vary by country and number of items. Our current shipping rates are listed in our online store.
